I know, I know! So adorable. I forgive the babies, but mom, really? Besides erecting a high-enough fence, one trick is to toss out some plants leftovers that you've pruned to keep them interested elsewhere. The do love wisteria leaves I've found. They love daylilies as you know. They do NOT like daffodils or foxgloves, and poppies are common flowers that deer avoid, too. They also tend to turn their noses up at fragrant plants with strong scents. Herbs such as sages, ornamental salvias, and lavender, as well as flowers like peonies and bearded irises, are just “stinky” to deer.
